keeping the fire burning

Just when I thought I had a good grip of this contest I noticed that it was two weeks hanging on the same four pound window.  So, I expressed my four pound frustration with my trainer.   Ken reminded me of some of the things he had told me to do.  Some of the things I had forgot!   Oops.....   So - guess what.  I did what he said for two days and lost two pounds!!!!!!
I need that guy.

Almost back to where I left off

There are so many strategies you can dream up in your mind to find a new level of inspiration.
About three years ago I was on a weight loss adventure.  My peak happened at about 194 lbs.  I am getting close to that again.  Thanks GOD!  It took me two years to get there in that earlier adventure.
This time I am ariving in about three and a half months.  That is what a contest can do for you!!!
Not to say that I have reached my goal!  Oh no, OH no!  I am now aiming for 173!
Thanks Lighten-up!  I wouldn't be here with out you.

So much more fun to come!!

This contest is the "beez kneezz"!  Last week we all had dinner together at Cabannas'.  I mean dinner there is a delight in itself.  But with all the Lighten-up team there together it was even better.
I had a reunion with an old friend.  We were sharing recipe ideas and exciting events coming up in our lives.
Now that we are past the 5% mark we get the membership to the Y too!!! Yikes - love it.
This week my legs aren't quit as sore as they were. I have the weeding workout for my advantage now.  Wait - I guess must of will have that too.  LOL  Love to garden.  I live in a condo so, if you want a little gardening help let me know I will be there.
    Keeping in the "nutritional zone".
Laura K. says some of us are posting recipes here so, I am going to put in one I found since becoming a part of the contest.
It is called:             Warm Quinoa Salad.
